Stern Ocular Services Clinic
Since 1983, the El Paso Lighthouse has provided ocular services
to people of all ages who have lost one or both eyes to birth
defects, accidents or eye diseases.
The Drs. J. Edward and Helen M. C. Stern Ocular Clinic is the only
ocular service within a 250 mile radius of El Paso. Daniel
M. Wenske is the only board-certified ocularist in the El Paso
area and one of the very few ocularists in the entire country that
has been approved by the F.D.A. (Food and Drug Administration) to
manufacture ocular prostheses, scleral cover shells and
conformers.
The Clinic provides
on-site, one-day service and complete custom devices including:
- Custom Ocular Conformers
- Scleral Cover Shells
- Periodic Maintenance
- Prosthetic Eyes
- Prosthetic Modifications
- Surgical Consultation
